ABOUT PROJECT
Building with Epic Homes for the Orang Asli
We aim to raise fund for emergency food aid due to the recent COVID-19 Movement Control Order for the underprivileged communities, the Orang Asli besides building homes for them.

About Us
Epic Homes is the single social enterprise committed in providing sustainable housing solutiongs to marginalised communities in Malaysia. With more than 150 homes completed, WE ARE NOT GOING TO STOP until every Orang Asli family owns a home with pride.

Previous Projects
Zurich Malaysia x EPIC Homes Build Project (19 - 21 July 2019) at Kg. Orang Asli Gurney, Batang Kali.
Oleon Malaysia collaborated with EPIC Homes to build a home for an Orang Asli (Jief and Chumi) family in Batang Kali, Selangor 8-10 Aug 2015.
#MalaysianWomenUnite kick-off build, held on 28th Feb - 1st March in Kg. Orang Asli Sungai Kelubi, Rawang. This Epic Home was built for Azuan and Norhafizah by all women build who incidently broke the Malaysian Book of Record for the "Fastest Home built by All Female Volunteer Crew".
Our Improvements
Provided home insurance with MSIG - Epic Homes have introduced policy with their partners at MSIG that covers all and any existing and future homes.

马来西亚Oleon与EPIC Homes合作，于2015年8月8日至10日在雪兰莪巴塘加里为Orang Asli（Jief和Chumi）家庭建设了住家。
#MalaysianWomenUnite启动活动，于2月28日至3月1日在Kg. Orang Asli Sungai Kelubi, Rawang举行。这座房屋是由所有妇女建造的，是为Azuan和Norhafizah建造的，她们偶然打破了马来西亚的《世界纪录》中的“所有女性志愿船员建造的最快房屋”。

通过MSIG提供房屋保险 - Epic Homes已与其合作伙伴在MSIG推出了涵盖所有以及任何现有和未来房屋的保单。

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
Having a MyStartr beginner comes with its own obstacles, and the tremendous amount of goal as well. We are aware that the goal we set to support one Orang Asli family may be large, but thanks to MyStartr Flexible Funding, even though the campaign objective for hitting RM61,765 missed, we will still obtain any collections from the campaign and we are still obliged to compensate each and every donor accordingly. The extra fund we receive afterwards will be used for EPIC Homes project development.

We are an inter-generational team composed of 5 students who currently pursuing our Bachelor Degree of International Finance (International Financial Economics) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Labuan International Campus and team members from EPIC Homes working together to help by raising funds for emergency food aid during Covid-19 RMO for underprivileged communities, currently focusing on the indigenous people of Peninsular Malaysia, the Orang Asli besides building homes for them.
